Egypt Glimpse.
Two brave girls called Sam and Pam
Went to Egypt all alone.
Wonder why I called them brave?
'Cuz they carried no guide or phone!


They went inside the Great Pyramid
The Great Pyramid of Giza.
Meanwhile Pam was hungry and was
 Thinking of a double cheese pizza!

Mummy King

They walked and walked inside it,
But saw not a single thing.
Suddenly Sam shouted aloud,
"Oh I see the mummified King!"

Mummy Cat

Mummy Queen

There was a mummy King alright,
And also his mummified cat,
And also his dear mummified Queen,
All lay on a mummified MAT!

King stood tall!

Pam wondered why anyone would
Mummify a 'mat' after all?
But stopped thinking when she saw
The mummy King standing tall!
Too scared!

Too scared to speak anything,
"I want my mummy..",said Pam.
"So soon?You are not even dead!",
Said the clever, annoying Sam. 
Evil Mummy King.

"Ha ha!",said the King,"don't worry.
You will be a mummy very soon."
And happy with himself,stood there,
Laughing like an evil goon.

Mummies fear sunlight?

Clever Sam proposed a plan,
"Let's run out in the open daylight.
Because mummies have a secret Pam,
That they are afraid of the sunlight."

Escaped the King!Phew!

So they ran out of the pyramid,
But the King was too afraid.
He did not follow them,and so,
Both of them escaped.


Did it really happen,
Or was it just a dream?
Did the mummy King really 
Make poor Pam scream?

Today's Talk: I wished,as a child , to go inside a pyramid and explore it, which, probably is not allowed . So what I imagined might be inside there is conveyed through Sam and Pam's poem๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿ‘ฉ.
 6+ months have passed after coronavirus came.....I have started enjoying  online and virtual learning. The confirmed cases in India are 37 lakh+ while the recovery rate is more than 3 times than this number. 3 of my close relatives, and one person in our neighborhood have tested +ve for corona๐Ÿ˜ž! This is very frightening, amid all the precaution already being taken against it. Not everyone,though, is taking precautions.
  Today is a fine day๐ŸŒž......Birds are chirping as always๐Ÿฆ. A cow๐Ÿ„๐Ÿฎ ate up a full patch of grass and weeds๐Ÿ€๐Ÿƒ present behind our house. It was eating for almost two hours coninuously!๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜„

Joy in Small Things

                     Once when I was small I sat down and began to draw. I drew a little hut And decorated it with straw. The straw kept falling off, There wasn't enough glue. But I finished the whole glue for it, I honestly tell you. Then I drew two little windows And a tiny brown door. A big flat mud wall And a huge muddy floor. Then I took some cotton And made clouds from it. I then drew a sun And could no longer sit. I got up and went to my family And displayed the drawing I made. All of them appreciated it "Very good!" was what they said. These were the joyful moments As a child that I had. A child who never knew What was it to be sad. Is it related to length, Or is used for measurement? I took out my dictionary And took a look. Thousands of words I saw In the little pocket-sized book. Without a second thought I checked  The words starting with 'S' Before the meanings in my mind Made a total mess! It 'is' some instrument, I was right about that part.
