The Volcano

This is not a poem. Me and my sister, when my dad was posted at Akhnoor(Jammu), made a little volcano out of paper. My sister painted it and then we carried out this experiment...

APPARATUS(materials required)-
--A little volcano  
--Baking soda
--Lemon(cut into half)
--Red food color
--A place to carry out the experiment

WHAT TO DO?
--Make a hole on top of the volcano and put some baking soda and food colour into it.

--Take a lemon, squeeze it onto the baking soda.

--AND!!
                                  THIS HAPPENS MY FRIENDS:

A Red LAVA fuzzes out..WOW!
This is because baking soda is a base and lemon juice is an acid,and when they come in contact,a reaction called neutralization reaction takes place.This causes the formation of foam like liquid.

    Oh......................... So happy to remember that day......... I am your sis , and let me tell you all guys that this is a PAPER-MACHE volcano. paper mache was shravani didi's school project and I used the leftover mixture to make the volcano, and after many days, we decided to carry out this experiment.

Joy in Small Things

                     Once when I was small I sat down and began to draw. I drew a little hut And decorated it with straw. The straw kept falling off, There wasn't enough glue. But I finished the whole glue for it, I honestly tell you. Then I drew two little windows And a tiny brown door. A big flat mud wall And a huge muddy floor. Then I took some cotton And made clouds from it. I then drew a sun And could no longer sit. I got up and went to my family And displayed the drawing I made. All of them appreciated it "Very good!" was what they said. These were the joyful moments As a child that I had. A child who never knew What was it to be sad.               "SPHYGMOMANOMETER" Once I read a word, It said sphygmomanometer. Is it something related, I thought, To meter or centimeter? Is it related to breadth, Or is it an instrument? Is it related to length, Or is used for measurement? I took out my dictionary And took a look. Thousands of words I saw In the little pocket-sized book. Without a second thought I checked  The words starting with 'S' Before the meanings in my mind Made a total mess! It 'is' some instrument, I was right about that part. But to understand the rest of the meaning, I was not too smart. I closed the dictionary And asked my mother. She said its used to measure A patient's blood pressure.
